Searsport, Maine 197
This image shows a curved section of Maine Street East looking west as it approaches the center of town. Wagon tracks, and perhaps those of early automobile tires, are visible in the dirt of the road. Mid-19th century homes line the way, set back with yards, trees, and telephone poles. A hand-lettered sign for "Magic Yeast" appears attached to a tree at the far left. Just beyond that a man works on his firewood pile. [Similar to LB2007.1.111151]
