Belfast, Maine, Shop, Window, Nightgown, Clothing, H.H. Coombs The H. H. Coombs Company dry goods store was located on High Street in the Masonic Temple Building. It was operated by Herman Coombs (1882-1961). Mr. Coombs also served as Belfast City Treasurer. Mr. Coombs was born in Caribou, married Eva Greenlaw of Belfast in August of 1910 and took up residence in Belfast.When the store was damaged by fire it was never reopened.
