Bay View Farm was purchased in 1935 from Mrs. Maurice Towle by Mr. & Mrs. Thomas MacDonald. It offered accommodations with garage for $1.50 per night. Steak and chicken dinners were considered to be their specialty and picnic baskets were made up for patrons.
