J.M. Mason Res. Limerick Me. 43.
"J.M. Mason Res. Limerick Me. 43." Image shows a stately mid 19th century brick residence and connected carriage house on a summer day. The formal front entrance and granite detailing of the house and the size of the carriage house reflect the wealth of its owner, Jeremiah Mason, who "amassed a fortune through many business ventures... (including his role in organizing) the Limerick National Bank", according to Thomas LePage. Mason built the 18-room house on Main Street in 1859 and lived there until his death in 1897. In 2019 the property was a bed and breakfast.
