21. Main St. Limerick, Me.
"21. Main St. Limerick, Me." An early 20th century view of the broad dirt Main Street of Limerick showing several houses and the bandstand and Academy/Oddfellows Hall at the end of the street. It is a warm day and three open-top automobiles with people in them can be seen at the right. Flags and banners contribute a festive note; perhaps it is a holiday. On the right is a 1910's American Foursquare house with a ground floor store. According to Thomas LePage, this building housed "many businesses over the years and is currently (2019) the office of a dentist. My grandparents owned a general store and auto repair shop here during the 1940s."
