A single trolley line runs past the shingled S.D. Warren Paper Company building in Gardiner. The waiting platform indicates this was a stop along the line. Behind the building are more shingled utilitarian structures. A house is partially visible at the far right. Gardiner was the southern terminus of the Augusta-Hallowell-Gardiner electric trolley line, which ran from 1890 to the 1930s.
