ROBERT F. O'HARA

109 foot steel hull fishing vessel, the first built by Harvey F. Gamage for F.J.O' Hara and Sons Inc of Rockland. Designed by John W. Gilbert Associates of Boston she has a 24 ft. beam and 12 foor draft, displacing 305 tons. Fish hold is 7,400 cubic feet. Built under the U S Fishing Fleet Improvement Act it was financially subsidized by the federal government, another first for Gamage.
