ZIMBA

Built at Paul Luke Yard in 1981, the racing sloop ZIMBA was 51 feet long with a 15 foot beam and depth of 8 feet 6 inches. Built with a Sparkman and Stephens design for Ohio industrialist Lawson Reed, the ZIMBA had a lead keel weighing 12,000 pounds.
