Owner Jonathan Murphy and finance Julie H. Street christened the new lobsterboat named for her. JULIE H was the first vessel launched at the Nelson (Sonny) Lash shipyard in Friendship, Maine, in 1978. She was built of fiberglass, 30 feet long with a 9 foot 6 inch beam and 2 1/2 ft. draft. Lobsterman Jonathan Murphy was 19. Julia Helen Street came from Warren.
