JULIE H

JULIE H was the first vessel launched at the new Nelson (Sonny) Lash shipyard in Friendship in 1978. She was built of fiberglass, 30 feet long with a 9 foot 6 inch beam and 2 1/2 ft. draft. The new boat's owner was 19 year old lobsterman Jonathan Murphy. She was named for Murphy's fiance, Julia Helen Street of Warren. The other lobsterboat is NORTH STAR from Friendship.
