Bicentennial Quilts
Quilt at the Jefferson Historical Society. 20 people made the 35 squares for the 04" X 77" quilt entitled "Jefferson Today". Two of the quilters were Mrs Robert teel and Mrs W.S.Wrause. August 1975. Quilt made by the Ladies Aid at Bristol Mills. 8 Regular quilters. Other ladies made other quilts to raise money for the repair of the belfry at the Bristol Congregational Church at the Mills. Among the regular quilters in the Ladies Aid group were Dorothy ( Mrs Arthur) Ellenwood and Mildred ( Mrs Arthur) Weeks.
