Sardines
On March 23, 1962, at New Harbor, Maine, a crew took a newly made sardine net from Lee Reilly's fish house and loaded it into a dory. Two nets valued at $3000. each were combined to make a purse seine 130 fathoms long and 25 fathoms deep. Lee Reilly fished from JULIE M. Alden Gilbert's boat was MILKY WAY.
