Schooner VICTORY CHIMES

VICTORY CHIMES, the great windjammer, was owned by Domino's Pizza in 1989, and sailed in the Great Lakes in the summer but came to Boothbay Harbor, Maine, fior winter maintenance at Frank L. Samples & Son. Pictured in her cabin in March 1989 are (l-r) Capt. John Keenan of Long Island, NY, who ran a small tug that travelled with the schooner; Capt. Donald "Red" Thompson of Grosse Point, Michigan, schooner captain; and his wife Mary Thompson. In 1990 VICTORY CHIMES returned to Maine to stay.
