SHERMAN ZWICKER
Sherman Zwicker, the mayor of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, welcomed the schooner from Boothbay Harbor, Maine, named the SHERMAN ZWICKER. That boat, built in 1942 in Lunenburg, was named for the mayor when he was 11 years old. The Zwicker family had a fleet of schooners that fished on the Grand Banks, off Newfoundland.
