SEA FEVER
At the launching of the new off-shore lobster boat SEA FEVER in June 1972 is crew member Rick Day of Nahant, MA. Behind him is Heidi Hartford of Marblehead and the University of Maine at Orono. The 50 ft. boat was built at the G. I. Hodgdon Co. in East Boothbay, Maine, a new yard developed by George I. "Sonny" Hodgdon, specifically for building wooden lobster boats. Owner and captain Bob Brown lived in Marblehead, MA, and fished from Gloucester.
