PROVINCETOWN
Captain Richard Nakashian is at the wheel of the new passenger vessel PROVINCETOWN at her lauching April 5, 1973. She was built at the Harvey F. Gamage yard in South Bristol, Maine. At 135 ft., she was the largest ship built in that yard at the time. She went into daily service between Boston and Provincetown that summer, carrying up to 600 passengers. Capt. Nakashian owned the Bay State-Spray & Provincetown Steamship Co., Inc.
