PROUD MARY

This is just after PROUD MARY hit the water for the first time with its owners aboard. It was March 18, 1975. Eugene Kral, Sr. is in the stern and Eugene Kral, Jr. is on the cabin, having just thrown a line to a man on the dock. Built at Atlantic Boat Works from a George Stadel, Jr., design. PROUD MARY had a length of 43 feet 10 inches, beam of 13 feet 4 inches and draft of 5 feet 11 1/2 inches. The 4 ton keel of poured lead supported the extra heavy 1 and 3/4 inch thick Honduran mahognay planking.
