The 27 ft. aluminum ketch FOX is under power in Rockland Harbor, Maine, shortly after her launch April 18, 1978. Her builder Richard Irving of Cushing, Maine, is at the helm. Irving designed this boat after an 1891 Gloucester sailing dory with modifications for use under sail or power by a small Volvo Penta diesel engine.
