ARAHO
The 120 foot stern trawler ARAHO was built at Gamage Shipbuilding, South Bristol, Maine, and launched February 27, 1979 . With a steel hull, she was the largest trawler built at a Maine shipyard since the 1930's. Francis J. O'Hara & Sons of Rockland, Maine, was the owner. This photo was taken February 27, 1979, the day of her launch, as the new hull floated off her cradle. FOXY LADY assisted by pushing her toward the dock. A crowd was watching..
