AMITY
AMITY was built in the Edward "Buddy" Poland shop at Round Pond, Maine, by Poland and neighbors and retirees, many who "volunteered" to see the project through. The 38 foot wooden combination lobster boat and dragger was completed after two winters of work and launched April 22, 1978. Among the crowd at the launch were Albert Curtis of New Harbor (left) and John Conley from Muscongus.
