AMITY
AMITY was built in the Edward "Buddy" Poland shop at Round Pond, Maine, by Poland and neighbors and retirees, many who "volunteered" to see the project through. The 38 foot wooden combination lobster boat and dragger was completed after two winters of work and launched April 22, 1978. Buddy Poland is fitting the end of cedar planks onto stern of the new boat.
