Lightship CORNFIELD POINT, LV-118

Lightship CORNFIELD hauled out at Snow’s Shipyard. The lightship CORNFIELD POINT, LV 118, WAL 539, was built in 1938 at the Rice Brothers Yard in East Boothbay. Diesel propelled, steel hull 114’ 9” long. Last lightship designed and built by the USLHS. Decommissioned in 1972. Now at Lewes, Delaware. Here she is hauled out at Snows Shipyard. Maintenance?
