Schooner-5 REBECCA PALMER just after launch at Rockland, Maine in 1901.

Schooner-5 REBECCA PALMER just after launch at Rockland, Maine in 1901. from Coffin: When launched the REBECCA PALMER struck her keel at the rudder, and was damaged enough to be hauled to East Boston for survey & repair - also we are told by Lou Parker that Cobb-Butler would not construct the vessel to "Palmer's request" so therefore had all the balance of the fleet built in Waldoboro by Welt. note: see numerous other images, including several in E. Boston drydock. For 2 more launch views, see LB2013.21.1620 & 1621.
