Railroad station, Burlington, VT
Railroad station, Burlington, VT"This railroad station was Burlington’s Union Station, so named because it served both the Rutland Railroad and the Central Vermont RR. Located on the waterfront at the foot of College Street, the station was completed in the late 1860s. In 1916 a new Union Station opened just south of this one and the old station was demolished. As you can see, the trolley line ran down to the railroad depot." -- Robert Blanchard 2024
