View at Stickney Cor ME, 7,
This is a view taken from Rt. 220 looking south. The Davis Store is on the left which was previously owned by Wm. Sidlinger. The other building was Cooke & Co. store which is no longer there. Two boys sit in front of the business in the foreground. Nearby are some empty barrels. Next we see another business with what appears to be the proprietor standing on the walk out front. Next to him a man sits on the porch. A utility pole is between these first two buildings. Further down the dirt road is a house with two people sitting on the porch. At least one has his feet up on the railing. Stickney Corner is part of Washington, Maine."View looking southeast across the intersection of Calderwood Road and Waldoboro Road (Route 220). The building at far left is at the northeast corner of that intersection. It was extant as of 2018 as a residence. The building at center is at the southeast corner of the intersection and is no longer extant. The small barn and house at right of this building were still extant in 2018; the barn housed Mainely Books. This view is a short ways up the road from LB2022.26.27; they both show the same house.
