Miller St dug up for sewer
Belfast street (probably Miller) being excavated for a sewer line. In the fore ground numerous items associated with the installation can be seen.Next to the wooden walkway over the trough a large diameter short section of pipe as well as several smaller diameter pipes laying on the lawn to the right can be seen. The material is probably vitrified (converted into glass or a glassy substance by heat and fusion) clay pipe. In the foreground, to the right, a large hand-carried tool & supply box can be seen. Typically, the outlet for the sewage would be the harbor.
