Interior view of a parlor with a barrister's bookcase showcasing two stuffed owls, a Snowy Owl to the left and a Barred Owl to the right, suggesting that this is probably Charles Coombs' parlor as he was, among other pursuits, a taxidermist. The room also contains a few other interesting items. Behind the caned chair is what appears to be a bronze table lamp featuring a blacksmith at his forge. Also, on the right is an internal horn, hand cranked Victrola (or similar). The bay window in this photo may well be the bay window which overlooks the side porch on the south side of the Coombs' home on Northport Avenue, Belfast.
