Library Decorated for Old Home Week 1903
This is a photo of the Belfast Free Library located on High Street at the corner of Miller Street. The library is proudle decorated in patriotic buntings for Old Home Week in 1903 as are so many buildings in the downtown area. The Belfast Free Library was designed by the architect, Julius Munchwitz of New York and was built in 1887. The building is constructed of both red and gray granite with room heights of nineteen feet.
