Sargentville, ME Public Library. A color Post Card picture of a small one-story building in a grassy area with a few pine trees in the background. An interesting piece of history is on the reverse: "Place the stamp here. One Cent for United States, and Island Possessions, Cuba, Canada and Mexico. Two Cents for Foreign." Manufactured by the Hugh C Leighton Co, Portland, Maine. Made in Germany. A duplicate is at LB2012.28.40. The Sargentville Library Association was incorporated in 1874 and the building was completed in 1905. Still functioning.
