Little is known about this series depicting various potted plants in greenhouse settings. The photographer did, on occasion, choose to explore the structures of trees, and the effects of light and shadow on their forms. While Kosti's archive includes a typed listing of the plants in this series and their botanical histories, it does not explain the context of the apparently unpublished assignment.
