This image shows a large-leafed, potted plant amongst others, in the corner of a solarium.
A large sign, suggesting the context of a public display, identifies the plant as Arrow-Root,
including a brief reference to its botanical history and human applications.
Little is known about this series depicting various labeled, potted plants in
greenhouse settings. While Kosti's archive includes a typed listing of some of the plants and their botanical histories, it does not explain the context of the apparently unpublished assignment.
