Ruohomaa's camera looks down on couples promenading during a square dance. They move past others who are seated on the sidelines in a hall decorated with pictures and Japanese paper lanterns.
In this improvised dance hall Kosti finds his preferred subject matter: the folkways of ordinary people at work and as here, at play.
