Chicken Barn with Feed Silo

In this color image is seen a chicken barn (possibly in Sidney, Maine) with a feed silo at the end of the barn. Note the pipe which runs from the bottom of the feed silo to a cutout in one of the upper floor windows. It is presumed that once inside the barn there is a suitable distribution system to feed the chickens. The barn is outfitted with numerous windows, each of which can be dropped by means of an outside pair of tracks. This will provide ventilation during the summer months.
