Man holding Toddler in an Outdoor Setting
This image shows a man in a wool suit and Stetson hat holding a little boy in his arms.
The man appears relaxed and looks directly at the boy, smiling. They are outside.
Kosti's assignment for which he shot this image is simply labeled: Harold Bell Wright. From 1902 to 1944 Wright was a prolific author of fiction, stageplays, and magazines, and one of the first best-selling writers in the U.S. He spent much of his life in the West, on his ranch in California and in Tucson, Arizona.
