Church Street, Buildings, Sign [Pearl St.], Sidewalk, Wooden, Fire Hydrant, Fence View of Church Street looking south from town at the intersection of Pearl Street (on the right). The house on the far side of Pearl Street (white fence) is an early home of James Patterson White (prior to construction of the house at the "Foot of the Square" in 1840). The well-known "Big Elm", planted by White is at the rear of this property. His lot occupied Pearl Street from Church Street to Court Street.
