Dragging a Dragger
A team of horses is pulling the 46 ft. wooden dragger BETTY B from Newell McLain's Thomaston boat shop to its launching site in 1943. The boat moved on planks and rollers. She was headed to a home port at Block Island, R.I. She later worked from Hyannis. In October 2012 she went aground at Aquinnah on Martha's Vineyard and was broken up.
