11.375" L x 1.5" W x 5.625" H wooden handled match plane with steel blade screwed to side and a 1" W steel blade with gap of .25" in middle of blade . Maker's mark on wood: " J & L Denison / Saybrook" and "7/8", business in Saybrook, CT circa 1830.
