Textile, clothing: child's blue smock/dress Child's blue and white patterned smock/dress. Dress closses at back with three buttons on back neck/yoke and buttoned sash at waist. Misssing its button. White tape trim on pockets, sleeves, neck ruffle, and back sash. Back of dress gathered to yoke. Sleeves gathered at top. hand and machine sewn. All clothing was found in a paper bag in John Roulstone's attic in summer of 2006. Clothing may have belonged to John's grandmother or mother. Condition: Material is worn and faded in spots. There is a large tear underneath the collar and tears and holes overall. Another large tear in the back left hand area.
