Sailmaking/rigging tool: sailmaker's bench, belonged to William H. Hahn
16 x 94" bench. Used by William H. Hahn as a sailmaker's bench, including several tools, such as: fids, awls, needle envelope, wood needle case, sailmaker's palm, needles in cork holder, beeswax, and a spool of cotton thread. Bench has a locked drawer marked with initials A.M.S. The original seat has been covered with tacked on naugahyde or something similar .
