Navigational Instrument: Telescope in case
Leather bound telescope was presented by the British Government to Captain Isaac Carver III Master of the U.S. Barque Trovatore for the rescue of the crew of the schooner "JOSEFA OF KINGSTON" Jamaica, September 1865. "Captain Isaac Carver" is engraved on lid of mahogany box.
