Ceramic/glassware: Bride's lamp

13" porcelain bride's lamp made in China. Composed of two pieces and features numerous scenes in many colors on white background, some grating. Purchased in the native city of Shanghai by Henrietta Mindoro Garey (1885 aboard ship S.F. HERSEY in the straits of Mindoro, Philippines-1975). Henrietta later married Wilbur Joshua Carver, a Searsport sea captain who commanded the USS LUZON, the flagship of the Yangtze River Patrol in 1931 and member of the 15th Destroyer Division of the US Pacific Fleet from 1932-1934. Ceramic/glassware: Bride's lamp Chinese porcelain bride's lamp in two pieces, purchased in the native city of Shanghai by Henrietta Mindoro Garey (1885 aboard ship S.F.
