Whitehall rowing boat

13' 2" L Whitehall style rowing boat. Boat dates from 1900-1920 attributed to Sumner McFarland by John Garber, who knew McFarland. Found on the Marshall estate in Port Clyde, ME. Stripped. No paint. Two rowing stations, stern sheets missing. Closed gunwale, carvel , Whitehall floor timber and frame construction. Fancy built: beads on seats, riser, floorboards, inwale, inside binder, outside sheerstrake. Bronze screw fastened. BAGF
