Pipe rack: with pipes, made, designed & crafted by donor Pipe rack with pipes. Half ship's wheel design. On either end are .50 caliber deactivated machine gun bullets and a 1942 Icelandic coin. On the bottom is cloth from a Coast Guard Uniform. The rack was made by the donor, H. Sandidge, Jr., while aboard the USS BIBB, a 327 foot Coast Guard Cutter, in the North Atlantic, and while in port in Iceland. Made in 1942 as a gift for his father.
