Barkentine CLARA E. MCGILVERY, made by Marlboro Packard in 1873 in Searsport, ME Photo of Joanna and Lincoln Colcord aboard the CLARA E. MCGILVERY. Built in 1873 for Capt. Joseph W. Wallnutt, native of Dublin, Ireland, who came to the United States as chief mate of the ship ODESSA, Captain Albert V. Nickels, master. Later he sailed in Searsport ships and married a sister of Capt. Dudley O. Black. Retired in 1889 and lived the rest of his life in Searsport.
