Women and Children in Woods
Numerous men, women, boys and girls enjoying an outing in the woods, relaxing in hammocks and perhaps enjoying a picnic. Judging by the outfits, the group was probably not camping in any serious fashion but rather spending a pleasant afternoon by a lake, perhaps after church services. The gentleman reclining in the hammock (second from the right) bears a resemblance to the photographer, Frederick R. Sweetser. Did he use a self-timer or did someone else take the photograph? We will never know.
