Tillson's Wharf
This is a hand-colored photograph of Tillson's Wharf in Rockland, ME circa 1930. This was the heart of the steamboat business in Rockland, Maine from the late 1800s until the early 1930s. Ships converged from Boston, Bangor, Bar Harbor, Vinalhaven, and many other ports. Passengers were also served here by the Maine Central Railroad.
