Steamboat SILVER STAR & Four masted schooner PENDLETON SISTERS
The steamboat SILVER STAR was in Belfast, Maine, on November 22, 1900, when PENDLETON SISTERS, a four-masted schooner, was launched from the F. C. Pendleton shipyard. The new 234 ft. schooner was designed to carry lumber from Bangor. The 73.5 ft. steamer carried passengers and freight from Belfast to other ports in the mid-coast area.
