Steamboat GOLDENROD
The little GOLDENROD was a popular summer excursion steamer in the Penobscot River. Built in 1893 at Barbour yard at Brewer, Maine, her home port was Castine. She travelled as far as Bar Harbor. In this picture she is leaving Warren's Landing, Islesboro.
