Steamboat DAY DREAM
The steamboat DAY DREAM was built as a yacht in 1880 at Green Point, Long Island, New York. Her first name was JULIA. She was converted to ferry service for passengers and freight and ran from Stonington, Maine, to Isle au Haut ferry until 1900. From then until 1905 she did odd jobs and was sold to a Boston owner. She was abandoned in 1922. Her dimensions were 88 ft. length by 13.5 ft. beam. She was rated at 36 gross tons.
