The 25' Smackee JEFF BROWN built in 1966 by jack Wilbur from drawings in Chapelle's American Small Sailing Craft book Photo taken aboard the Herrreshoff sloop NEITH (not seen) during a sail from Noank, CT, that Joel White and I were invited to join. Sailing past us was the Noank / Key West 25' Smackee JEFF BROWN built in 1966 by the late Jack Wilbur from drawings in Chapelle's National Watercraft Collection book, page 286 & 287. I believe Any Giblin was at her helm that day, while Ed McClave sailed NEITH. - Maynard Bray
